The guidance here is general
The service pages, city pages, cost guides and articles on this site describe how chimney work is generally done and what standards and local rules say. They are not an inspection of your chimney, and they are not advice about your specific property. Only an inspection can tell you what your chimney needs.
Where a page states a standard, a code requirement, a permit rule or a climate figure, it cites the source it came from and the date we read it. Standards, codes and local rules change. Always confirm anything about permits or code with the authority that has jurisdiction over your address before you rely on it.
Nothing on this site is a quote
No page here states a price for your work, and nothing on this site is an offer to do work at a particular price. A price becomes real when we have inspected the chimney and sent you a written scope, and it becomes binding when you approve that scope.
Sending a request
Submitting the request form starts a conversation. It does not create a booking, and it does not create a contract. We will contact you to arrange a time. Please give accurate details — particularly the address — because we plan the visit from them. What we do with the information you send is set out in our privacy notice.
Safety
Some of what these pages describe involves working at height, on roofs, and with combustion appliances. Nothing here is an instruction to carry that work out yourself. If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or think a chimney fire has occurred, leave the building and call emergency services before you call anyone else.

We link to outside sources so you can check what we have written. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

These terms describe how this website and our quoting process actually work. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer, and they do not replace the contract that governs the work itself. Have both reviewed before launch.
